In our constant attempts to understand ourselves and the world around us, we run into a multitude of questions about reality, its nature, and the way we perceive it.
These reflections bring us to the understanding that the reality we take for granted is in fact a complex construction formed in our mind. It does not exist on its own; it is the result of our perception, interpretation and interaction with the surrounding world.

We live in a world where every moment offers us a choice – how to perceive ourselves, others, and the events happening around us.
This choice, though not always obvious, is a fundamental aspect of our existence. It determines how we respond to external circumstances, how we form our relationships and, in the end, how we live our lives.
Gestalt therapy invites us to stop and focus on the present moment, “here and now”. This gives us the chance to feel and understand our needs, emotions and experiences in their purest form.
Through this awareness we can discover new ways of meeting our needs and resolving the conflicts we carry within us.
Such work can resemble the experience of looking through a kaleidoscope. Every turn, every change of perspective can open up a new layer of our understanding, a new way of seeing the world and ourselves in it.
It lets us discover that, despite the outward sameness of the “glass” of our experience, the picture of our life can always be unique and different from the one before.
