Since 2006 KIGiP has been passing on the living experience of gestalt therapy — from trainer to student, from student to client. This is where real therapists begin.
We train gestalt therapists who not only practise well but can also bear someone else’s pain and stay present. These are the therapists Ukraine needs today.

Nataliia Turbovets and a team of like-minded people founded the institute with one aim — to teach gestalt to an international standard. Not second-hand, but living: where the trainer has walked the path themselves.
KIGiP became the official representative of Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles in Ukraine. Students gained a rare opportunity — to sit the GATLA examination after their training and receive an international certificate recognised in the USA and Europe.
KIGiP was admitted to the federation of organisations teaching gestalt in Europe. We now sit among the institutes that shape the standards of gestalt education, alongside schools in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
KIGiP works with Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Institute — the author of polyvagal theory, which transformed how trauma and the nervous system are understood. Our students were the first in Ukraine to access this knowledge as an official course.
We launched new specialisations and advanced programmes in gestalt therapy, supervision and work in organisations, strengthening the practical component and student support at every stage.
The institute became a place of strength for hundreds of students and graduates. We built a professional community where everyone supports everyone — and you feel it at every meeting.
We moved online to keep both quality and access. We kept teaching, supported our students and made room for growth whatever the circumstances.
When the full-scale war began we directed our knowledge and resources to supporting people affected by trauma: charitable projects, free support groups and assistance programmes.

The KIGiP certificate is recognised by international professional associations. Our graduates can practise and seek accreditation in Europe and the USA.

KIGiP is the official and only partner of Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Institute in Ukraine. This gives our students exclusive access to the authentic course based on Polyvagal Theory.
Students of levels 3 and 4 may take GATLA certification by sitting an examination before international supervisors. The certificate is recognised in the USA and Europe. An international integration programme runs at KIGiP together with GATLA.
KIGiP takes part in international research together with SPR.

The institute has a Code of Ethics and an Ethics Committee. Every student and every client has the right to file a complaint — and to be heard.
