Level 1 in
Gestalt therapy

with Nadiia Rekhtina and Liudmyla Kuzmenko

Start: 17 October 2026

Are you ready for a journey that will change the way you see life?

Gestalt therapy is more than a method: it is the art of coming to know yourself, of building real relationships and of opening up the potential for a harmonious life.

Our programme offers a unique combination of theory, practice and personal growth.

IN THIS GROUP YOU WILL GET:

  • Training to the standards of the EAGT (European Association for Gestalt Therapy) and GATLA (the Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles).

  • 90% practical work: through personal experience to an understanding of theory.

  • The development of the key skills of a counsellor and a gestalt therapist.

  • The chance to live through deep individual and group therapy.

  • A certificate from the Kyiv Institute of Gestalt and Psychodrama, which opens the door to further training.

WHO THIS PROGRAMME IS FOR

  • For those who want to gain the profession of psychotherapist.

  • For those who work, or want to work, with people: psychologists, teachers, doctors, social workers, students of the humanities

  • For everyone who wants to understand themselves and others more deeply.

WHY THIS DESERVES YOUR ATTENTION

  • A deep and whole approach

Gestalt therapy gives you tools for working with feelings, emotions, wishes and goals. It teaches you to see the connections within yourself, in relationships and even in the world around you.

  • Personal experience at the centre

We do not learn theory by heart — you will discover it through your own experience, interest and practice. This is not simply training; it is transformation.

  • Effectiveness confirmed by research

Gestalt therapy is among the five most popular methods of psychotherapy in Ukraine. And international research, such as the meta-analysis by K. Grawe, shows that it works with a wide range of requests.

  • Training from professionals

Among the trainers are specialists from Ukraine, Nadiia Rekhtina and Liudmyla Kuzmenko. You will be able to take on their experience and also find inspiration for your own development.

  • A therapeutic atmosphere of support

This is a space where it is safe to be yourself, to experiment and to learn through creativity and conversation.

DETAILS OF THE PROGRAMME

  • 9 two-day seminars (180 academic hours), held once a month

  • Saturday–Sunday, 10:00–18:00

  • online, on Zoom

  • Completing the first level makes it possible to go on to certification training at the second level.

JOIN US IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR:

WITHIN THE PROGRAMME YOU WILL ALSO GO DEEPLY INTO IMPORTANT SUBJECTS: • Family values and parental messages

How do your family models shape your ideas about life and relationships? You will understand how these attitudes affect your thinking, your behaviour and your decisions.

• Working with dreams

Your unconscious speaks through dreams.

• Art-therapy tools

How does creativity help to uncover real feelings?

• Working with psychosomatics

Your body is the language of your emotions.

• Feelings of shame and guilt

These feelings often block our freedom and spontaneity. We will look at how to release them and use them as a resource for growth.

• Completing unfinished situations

Open gestalts hold us in the past.

• Forms of perceiving reality

Why can two people see the very same thing and yet take it in completely differently?

CERTIFICATE: On completion of the programme a Certificate of the Kyiv Institute of Gestalt and Psychodrama is issued, confirming attendance and completion of the training and therapy group of the 1st level.

This certificate makes it possible to continue the professional educational programme in gestalt therapy at the 2nd level. The certificate meets European standards (EAGT) and the standards of GATLA (the Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles).
