Requirements for certification at the Second level
Requirements for receiving a gestalt therapist’s certificate to the standards of the Kyiv Institute of Gestalt and Psychodrama and the European Association for Gestalt Therapy
1. Introduction to gestalt counselling and gestalt therapy (level 1)
2. Higher education:

in psychology (psychologist)
-
in medicine (medical psychologist, psychiatrist, medical psychotherapist, neurologist, sexologist)
3. Attendance at three-day practical seminars and trainings: 20 seminars, 600 hours
4. Independent work in small study groups, at least 200 hours
5. Lectures on gestalt therapy, 8 lectures (the Basic course of lectures on gestalt therapy)
6. A half-hour session under supervision, at the final stage of training.
7. A description of long-term work with clients: at least three clients, at least ten meetings with each
8. Personal individual therapy, at least 50 hours
9. Group psychotherapy, at least 200 hours
10. Supervision, at least 150 hours, of which: – 15 presentations of work in a small group,
– 15 individual supervisions (5 of them assessed) with a supervisor, based on work with real clients, – 100 hours in a group supervision format, – 20 hours of supervision by correspondence.
